Coaching for career and life transitions

There are three ways we could work together. Both give you a confidential space to think something through properly, and decide what to do about it.

Which one fits depends on how much there is to untangle, and how much time you want for it.

A Single Session is one conversation, on its own. Focused Coaching is for one clear decision or question. The Next Chapter is for a bigger change, with several questions tangled up in it.

You don’t need to decide before getting in touch. We can talk about which one fits, if either, during the complimentary conversation.

Founding-client offer

Until 31 January 2027, I am inviting a small number of founding clients to work with me while I continue building my practice.

Founding-client pricing is not conditional on providing a testimonial.

I will invite honest feedback on the coaching experience. Sharing a public testimonial is entirely optional.

A Single Session

For when you want to think something through, once

Sometimes you don’t need a programme. You need one proper conversation, with someone whose only job in that time is to help you think clearly about what is in front of you.

It may suit you if:

You have one thing on your mind and want to think it through properly.

Something has changed recently and you want to get your head straight about it.

You want to test what coaching is like before committing to more.

You are weighing something up and want to hear yourself think out loud.

You want a considered second perspective rather than advice.

You are not ready for a longer piece of work, and may never be.

If it turns out there is more here than one session allows, we can talk about whether one of the programmes fits. There is no expectation that it will.

Focused Coaching

For one defined decision, challenge or transition

Focused Coaching is shorter, and built around one question that deserves proper attention.

It may suit you if:

You are deciding between two professional options.

You are considering a return to work.

You are exploring one business or career idea.

You are preparing for a significant conversation.

You want to clarify one immediate priority.

You feel stuck around one specific decision.

If there is more than one question and they are all tangled together, Focused Coaching probably isn’t the right shape. The Next Chapter is likely to suit you better.

The Next Chapter

For a significant career or life transition

The Next Chapter is for a bigger transition — the kind where the questions are connected, and you can’t really answer one without the others.

It may suit you if:

You are reconsidering your career direction.

You are facing redundancy or organisational change.

You are returning to work after time away.

You are questioning whether the career you have built still fits.

You are exploring entrepreneurship or a portfolio career.

You are reassessing identity, priorities or your definition of success.

You are navigating a change that affects both work and life.

Coaching might explore

  • What has changed and why it matters.
  • The decision beneath the surface question.
  • Values, identity and priorities.
  • Assumptions influencing your choices.
  • Possible directions and trade-offs.
  • What you want to carry into the next chapter.
  • Practical next steps.

Where it helps, practical input might include

  • How you’re coming across professionally.
  • Your CV.
  • Your LinkedIn profile.
  • Preparing for an interview.

I’ll only bring this in if it’s useful, and we’ve agreed on it.

questions

Frequently asked questions

What happens during the complimentary conversation?

A 45-minute conversation to explore what you’re navigating right now and whether coaching is the right support for you.

You don’t need to have it all figured out — just a sense that something might need to change.

There’s no pressure or expectation. This is simply a space to think, reflect, and see what feels right.

Are sessions online or in person?

Both. Most coaching happens online, which suits people who are working around a job, a family, or a different time zone. Where it is practical, I also coach in person.

What language can we work in?

English or Romanian, whichever you would rather think in. Some people find it easier to work through something difficult in their first language, even when their English is excellent.

What is the difference between coaching and career advisory support?

Coaching helps you reflect, notice patterns, make decisions and identify your own way forward.

Career advisory support may include practical professional feedback, such as comments on positioning, CVs, LinkedIn profiles or interview preparation.

Where advisory support is used, it will be explicitly agreed.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No — they are different kinds of work, and it is worth being clear about which one you need.

Therapy tends to look backwards. It works with what has happened to you, with emotional health, and with conditions like depression or anxiety. That is clinical work, and it is not what I do.

Coaching starts where you are now and looks forward. It is concerned with the decisions in front of you, what you want the next stage to look like, and what it would take to get there.

Sometimes therapy is the right support and coaching is not. If I think that is the case, I will say so.

What happens if coaching is not the right form of support?

I will say so.

Where appropriate and possible, I may suggest another form of support or a more suitable professional route.

Still not sure where to start?
